GANANOQUE AREA STUDENT SERVES AS QUEEN'S PARK PAGE

(Toronto) – Bob Runciman, Tory House Leader and Leeds-Grenville MPP, congratulated Zoë Griggs today for her selection to the Queen’s Park Legislative Page Program. Zoë served as a page for the Fall 2005 session of the 38th Parliament from mid-November until the legislature’s adjournment today for it Christmas break.

“Zoë did an outstanding job and I want to congratulate her on being selected to participate in the Legislative Page Program,” Runciman said. “It’s great to have a Gananoque resident selected, especially one so committed to her duties that she volunteered to stay on as the Legislature extended its sitting,” he added.

“I hope that Zoë’s success encourages more students from Gananoque, and the riding, to apply for this exceptional experience,” Runciman concluded.
