MPP HOSTS SENIORS’ SEMINAR
“Face the Future with Confidence” planned this month in Westport
Leeds-Grenville MPP Bob Runciman will hold a seminar for seniors and other interested citizens in Westport on Friday April 27, 2007.
The seminar entitled “Face the Future with Confidence” will take place from 1 to 3:30 pm at the Westport United Church Hall (Spring St. entrance - back of church)
Speakers will include lawyer John O’Connor, Leeds OPP Constable Sandra Barr, Brenda Palmer from Village IDA Pharmacy and local financial planner Laurie Fielding.
Local freelance seniors’ writer Keith Pelton will be the final speaker of the day. His address is entitled “Check up to check out”
“This seminar is not only of interest for seniors who want to stay in their homes longer but also those who are making plans for the future,” said Runciman. “In addition to our speakers we have a variety of great information from various provincial ministries.”
A future seminar is also planned for the Fuller building in downtown Brockville on Friday June 1st.
