CREATIVE OPTIONS _ BROCKVILLE AND DISTRICT ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Creative Options _ Brockville and District Association for Community Involvement will receive a one-time grant of $46,300 to develop organizational plans and assist several small businesses operated by individuals with intellectual disabilities in expanding their operations.

Augusta Township Public Library Board received $10,000 to purchase new books in order to better serve the community.

Elizabethtown-Kitley Township Public Library Board received $5,500 to purchase computers and install an automatic information system in the library’s three branches in Addison, Toledo and Lyn.

Front of Yonge Township Public Library received $10,000 to augment non-fiction, fiction and large print collections in order to better serve the Mallorytown area.

Gananoque Public Library Board received $8,300 to install computer workstations and a microfilm reader in its library.

Leeds and the Thousand Islands Public Library received $9,000 to purchase audiovisual and CD collections to assist people with poor vision.

Merrickville-Wolford Public Library Board received $5,000 to revitalize and expand the collection of large print books.

North Grenville Public Library Board received $11,000 to purchase shelving and furniture for the children’s section in Kemptville and Burritt’s Rapids.

Prescott Public Library was given $9,000 to increase the library’s non-fiction collection.

Rideau-Lakes Public Library Board received $10,000 to provide multi-media racks to display popular educational and entertainment resources at the municipality’s three libraries.

Township of Athens Public Library received $9,400 to install an automated information system enhancing access to educational resources.

Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal received $8,300 to provide an automated information system for the amalgamated collections at its two libraries.

Westport Public Library Board was given $9,500 to augment the adult and children’s collections and complete automation of the library’s information system.
